iraq reenactments, vegetarians for meat taxes, the conspiracy of 9/11

All of this list mentioned above are protests at the democratic national convention. But my persinal favorite would have to have been the whole group dressed from head to toe in pink proclaiming Make Out Not War. But some people (who had to be protected by a police force or else be beaten up), former Hillary fans were chanting in droning voices Clinton for McCain! But obviously these people are totally uninformed not knowing that she is giving up her delegates. Everyone in downtown denver is selling knockoff democratic stuff from Ban a republican t shirts that are like Banana Republic to key chains to wigs that look like Michelle Obama's . I even got to go past the wonder bread factory which was just wondrous. Haha. But it was really interesting chatting with Senator Graham this morning, a presidential candidate in 2004, he was also in the investigation program for 9/11 telling us that there is a 50 percent chance in the next ten years to have another attack. This caused a lot of us to question who this man was and where these republican ideas sprang from. He then went on to talk about our relationship with Russia and how we have to be nice to them because they have half of the nuclear weapons in the world. Ummm hello? It's not the cold war anymore. I also chatted with George McGovern the 1972 democratic presidental candidate. I'll update you more later.

You're right about the fact that the U.S. is no longer floundering in the Cold War, but Senator Graham was likely alluding to the recent controversy regarding Russia's invasion of Georgia when he spoke about the American relationship with Russia. Just to keep you in check - this guy isn't off his rocker, he's just up to date.

Keep blogging! :) I love hearing what you have to say about the DNC.
